51Talk Brings Fun English Learning to Fam Bam Festival 2026

From 16 to 20 September 2026, 51Talk joined Fam Bam Festival at Sunway Velocity Mall, bringing families together for five days of fun, activities and interactive experiences.

As a family-focused event designed for parents and children, Fam Bam Festival gave 51Talk an opportunity to meet families in person and introduce them to a different way of learning English through 1-on-1 online classes with foreign teachers.

A Mini Class Experience, Right at the Booth

One of the highlights at the 51Talk booth was the Mini Class, where children could experience a short interactive lesson with our foreign teacher.

Instead of simply hearing about online English learning, parents could watch their children experience it firsthand. During the mini classes, children interacted with their teachers, responded to questions and practiced speaking in a fun and engaging setting.

For many parents, seeing the interaction for themselves gave them a better idea of what a 1-on-1 online English class could look like and how a foreign teacher can engage with their child during a lesson.

From First Try to Next Step

The experience also encouraged parents to take the next step. After their children tried the Mini Class at the event, several parents went on to book a 51Talk online trial class to continue the experience at home.

The booth also welcomed some familiar faces. A few 51Talk students came to the event specially after seeing our Fam Bam Festival posts on social media, giving them a chance to meet the team and join the activities in person.

For 51Talk, meeting families face-to-face was also an opportunity to listen to parents, understand what they look for in English classes for children and show how personalised learning can fit into everyday family life.
